It’s me again, coming at you with this week’s highlighted music. I’m particularly excited about this week’s list because oh my goodness Andrew Bird. Andrew Bird, obviously. Andrew Bird is what I can only describe as a multi-instrumental, musical amalgamation. He’s what happens when you take a classically-trained violinist and smash it up with bizarre folk poetry and a sick beat. I picked him for this week firstly because he has a new song, and secondly because he’s just someone whose music everyone would benefit from hearing. (A third, less important reason is that he is a fabulous whistler and it always blows me away).
