NEWSLETTER #3

I hope that your Saturday wasn’t too dreadful without your usual 12:00 update from me earlier. I’m here to make up for that with some great music and artists! Lay back, close your eyes, and soak up the sounds. Let yourself really absorb the music this week—especially our throwback artist (who may or may not be featured).

Throwback Track

Featured Artist
Nick Drake! This guy produced the most wonderfully somber music in the seventies. His breathy vocals and acoustic compositions captivated a small subset of the English folk music community, and many compared him to Donovan. He didn’t get a huge following until after his death, seeing as he almost never performed live. The way his melodies and lyrics express the uniqueness of each individual person’s melancholy is uncanny, and I really hope that you enjoy the song that I’ve picked for you to check out (and also listen to his other albums cause they’re awesome).

Here's the Spotify playlist, as per usual
